The big change was the knock through from the old kitchen to the new one. A wide opening was carved through the two foot thick wall of the old kitchen. This picture shows the view from the old kitchen to the new one with the temporary sink on the right hand side. Over the sink the old boiler, still required to provide heating and hot water until the new kitchen was ready, was propped up with timber.
