The front retaining wall (otherwise known as the ‘Great Wall of Fron’ courtesy of its great thickness) was now rising from the ground. The cavity wall in the foreground will be the wall of the conservatory which had been completed as far as possible without preventing access to the front door. The new wall made the squeeze to get to the front door even tighter.
