The other job that we focused on was getting the main bedroom habitable. The previous owner had painted it a dark crimson and it took several coats of paint to fully obliterate the old paint. We fitted a schoolhouse radiator to replace the modern one and had cupboards fitted along the wall to the right of the picture. By the time this picture was taken even the dressing table had turned up - it was lost in transit for several months.
